Brain Trust Live #41 - GUN VIOLENCE SPECIAL - 12/18/12
Tuesday Dec 18, 2012
Tuesday Dec 18, 2012
In Which We Discuss: 1. Another senseless act of horrifying violence leaves us with another round of questions about whether we’ll ever pass meaningful gun control legislation in this country. Fortunately, we've got some ideas about what we should do moving forward. 2. Mike Huckabee and several Republican members of Congress remain stubbornly in defiance of logic, insist that anything but guns was responsible for this tragedy. Things that apparently were responsible: Unions, sex, abortion pills, teachers, gays. 3. Susan Rice withdraws her name from Secretary of State contention, leaving us with a Kerry-sized hole in Massachusetts. 4. Tim Scott, as expected, is the latest hateful bigot to represent SC in the Senate 5. Speaker Boehner acts like, by agreeing to tax hikes for millionaires, he’s giving us something amazingly generous.
All this and much more on our LAST PODCAST BEFORE WE CRASH INTO THE PLANET NIBIRU AND ITUNES GETS SUCKED INTO A WORLD-SIZED SINKHOLE!
